Virginia meets the Chicago Way
When their farfetched marriage-gone-bad defense failed to save former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, from guilty verdicts in their corruption trial, I could not help but wonder: Why didn't they take a plea deal when they had the chance?
