Those are the same travel dates I have after Christmas. I am currently searching Orbitz.com for your itinerary. The cheapest I could find from ORF to Knoxville on US Airways with taxes with a stop in Charlotte is $339.90.

Unfortunately for you, you are basically looking at black-out dates on all airlines. The only way to find cheap-o airfare is looking at flexible dates. I found flexible cheap airfare on AirTran from Milwaukee-Pittsburgh for $183 round trip during Thanksgiving!
