i need a cheap flight to west virginia?
i have to go to west virginia from the 22nd to the 27th of this month and i need to know if there is a site i can book a flight for kinda cheap today... any help is needed thanks

I have found in the past that cheap trips to West Virginia don't really exist. Not like they do to NY or DC. It isn't a major hub of anyone and the discount airlines such as AirTran or Spirit don't usually go there. Oddly enough, I've found it cheaper to fly just outside WV and drive over. Of course, this will depend on which part of WV that you are going to etc. And if you were not planning on renting a car to begin with than this isn't the cheapest way to do it. If you are going to the west side, check flights into Columbus or Cinnicinati. If you are going to the east side check flights going into DC. If you are going to the north side, check flights into Canton/Akron (on AirTran you can get some great deals) or Pittsburg. If you have to fly directly into WV - give priceline 'name your own price' a try - you might get a deal on there. Good luck.

I live in WV, and there are never any cheap flights into our airports. We don't have discount airlines, and the airports are all small. You can sometimes find good rates on Cheap Tickets, Hotwire, and Expedia. But I wouldn't count on it. A better bet might be to fly into a "nearby" city and drive in. If you're heading to the SW part of the state (Charleston/Huntington), you can try Columbus or Cincinnati. If you're flying into the N part (Morgantown/Clarksburg), try PIttsburgh. For the SE part of the state (Beckley), try Roanoke or Charlotte.
