Is flight training better in Florida or Virginia

Is flight training better in Florida or Virginia?
I'm trying to choose between two flight schools... Horizon Flight Centre in Chesapeake,Virginia OR Sunrise Aviation, Ormond Beach, Florida. The former is a CPC and has weather conditions suitable for proper IFR training. The latter isnt a CPC, but has alot more amenities for international students. Also I've read more testimonials from Sunrise Aviation than Horizon Flight. Help please.

Florida was my choice for year round training. In my experience schools that cater to international students or GI bill students tend to be high priced because since the student usually isn't paying the bill they can charge whatever the traffic will bear. There are hundreds of smaller FBOs with good equipment and good instructors that charge very reasonable rates. The FBO where I learned just about doubled their rates when they qualified to train under the GI bill.

I have not flown in either. I would say VA as they have more variety of weather. You get the snow/icing that you would never experience nor have to worry about in FL, on the other hand FL you will probably get more chances to fly, good question!!

I learned in VA at W75 and KFYJ, loved every minute of it. I flew into CPC many times. It really is a beautiful area to learn. Nice landscape, decent number of larger airports (Norfolk, Newport News, Richmond), varied weather conditions, coastal scenery.

Virginia is better because the climate there is colder. I don't like the heat.
