Most likely you will fly into Burlington. The problem is that there are not a lot of airlines that fly into Vermont but you can check out http://www.kayak.com to see how much airline tickets cost. You can also see what airlines fly into Burlington and then go to those airline's websites to check airfare.

Burlington has the the only airport in Vermont that is serviced by major carriers. If you are going to southern Vermont, then the best alternative would be to fly to Albany, NY, which is only about 40 miles from the Vermont border. I like using Kayak.com to find the lease expensive flights, but they do not list flights for Southwest Airlines, so you should check Southwest's website also. Southwest has service to both Burlington and Albany.
