can you get sick from changing your location

can you get sick from changing your location?
I'm from northern virginia and I went to Cali for about a month, stayed at a pretty secluded town. I started feeling sick when i drove to san fran the day before my flight and am still pretty sick. I have runny nose, coughing / sore throat, sneezing. It's funny because 3 weeks before this trip I spent a week over there and this didn't happen. Could this be some kind of allergy? Last time I checked I was allergic to bluegrass (not the music). I just got back to Virginia on Sunday night

you can get jetlag.. but i dont think jetlag has fluelike symptoms.. with that swine flue bird flu whatever it is going around i'd be very conservative.. and if you dont feel better real quick go see a physician.. oh.. no health care? .. guess u have to die then.. damn republicans... if u dont have health care.. go to as many republican events as you can.. sneeze everywhere.

With your symptoms, it sounds like it could be because of allergies. How long have you been home? If it's been at least a week, I'd visit a doctor just in case. stumpedII - if we had national health care, he wouldn't get taken care of...he'd have to wait in line!
