I want to become an Apache Gunner..

I want to become an Apache Gunner..?
Do I have to go to flight school or what do I do? I plan to go to OCS for the Virginia National Guard in may and be commissioned as a 2nd lt. I don't have to actually fly the chopper but this is what I want to do. I want to be the one protecting our ground troops from the air. What does it take?

The USAF has an aerial gunner job you may enjoy. Look into it. Youll either be shooting out the side of a chopper or blowing multiple enemies to shreds with a howitzer from a c-130. Sounds just like something you'd enjoy.

depends what kind of artillary manager u wud like 2 be u want 2 fire from inside or standing on the stand of chopper

Go to Ground defense school.
