Can anyone help me approximate the cost of moving from Virginia to New Zealand

Can anyone help me approximate the cost of moving from Virginia to New Zealand?
Recently, perhaps in September, I'm planning on moving to New Zealand in hopes of a better education. Specifically, I'll be moving to Wellington. I've already a mate there who's willing to help house me, so that's no issue. But, cost wise, I'd like some help figuring this out. So far, the 'net is no help-- I'm friggin' lost. So, if anyone could, and will, please mention websites to help plan, flight sites-- anything, really. I just need a good push out of the nest to aid me. Thank you, guys. <3

Have you taken care of the visa issue yet? You do know that you cannot just "move" to New Zealand, right/you may visit there for for up to 90 days without a visa, but may not go to school or work. If you plan to study there, you will need a student visa...and lots of savings. As far as the expense of moving there...very high...far cheaper just to take your suitcases of clothing and buy other needs there...cost too much to move other belongings so far. However, before looking at plane ticket prices, you will need to apply for and get a proper visa to reside in new Zealand. See 2nd site below to reserch visa requirements.

Charlie is right particulary re Visa and moving your stuff here Firstly contact a local travel agency to get a rough idea of flight costs and flight options then look at the major international airlines on net Best of Luck I have the privelage of living in Paradise, of places to live in North Island Wellington is good, nearly as good as the mainland You will arrive thru Auckland, Land and get outa there, place is full of jafas,( not a racial statement, )means Just another F...... aucklander
