Is there a cheaper way to get to Taiwan from the U.S

Is there a cheaper way to get to Taiwan from the U.S?
I live in Virginia and i was looking at flights to Taiwan and the range in the prices, but the main one that i found that is a round trip is $4,000 and i was just wondering if there was a cheaper way to get there?

It isn't very hard to find prices lower than $4000 round trip, so long as you are NOT trying to travel around the time of "Chinese New Year" (aka Lunar New Year), which falls on Feb 2nd this year. Prices have been runnng at about $2500 round trip, but I've seen them below $2000 at times. travelocity.com is a good place to start looking.

If you can wait to go to Taiwan until April, it is only $1,100 round trip on Eva Airline.

it generally costs about 4000to 4500$ for a round trip. i have seen around 2500$ to 2000$ for a round trip somtimes. it will be around 1500$ in april in some airlines.travelocity.com is the best one to start with.
