I'm visiting switzerland. How much do you think this will cost?
There's no definate date. I need: -4 round trip flight tickets to Zurich from Charlottesville,Virginia -A 2 month hotel stay -A reasonable amount of money for going out to eat basically every night. -Alot of money for shopping. -And a rental car. Please and thank you. ...and i forgot: money for trains to go to: germany and italy. :) .....holy crap. that's um quite alot D: ...well first off i don't want first class anything. on priceline.com, for a combo of hotel and flight, it's 9,879. four people, two hotel rooms in the xtra hotel or whatever. shopping would probably be another grand or so. and i can only imagine a rental car and gas would be another 3 grand. food-500. so i can only imagine it'll be 14,579 in u.s dollars, not francs. (but the currency of a franc is pretty much the currency of a dollar). But thanks anyways for your estimates!

Airfare 12 grand Hotel 18 grand Food 9 grand Your shopping is your shopping Car and Gas (2 tanks a week full size vehicle...Mercedes/BMW 11 grand) Train for four (1st class open passage 2 months) 7 grand Roughly 60 thousand for group of 4 for 2 months EDIT: Cost shmost? Potatos are cheaper. You'll end up paying the 60 no matter, so look. I'll make this deal with ya........no need to thank, you should apologise for what the hurt that this makes me feel in lowering it to 45? Just remember, what you tip is over the 40..... Did I say 40? So, forget the Mercedes, what do you need the gas for? the price of the tickets? no idea 2 month in a hotel 2 stars? between 90 and 130 CHF a day for example in July / august in Zürich 1 star around 70 CHF going out Bars/ restaurants ? a Dish around 20 -40 CHF or more, a drink Cocktail 7 -15 CHF, coffee 4.50 -6.00 CHF A lot of money for shopping? It^s dependent to you, but yes you will need to rent a car ? which car, how long ? Example Fiat Bravo between 1500 and 2000CHF a month depended where you rent for a day around 60 - 100 CHF the train is not so expensive inside Switzerland, to travel to Germany or France as well not so much Zürich - Dusseldorf 2 class around 200 -300 CHF 2 ways so calculate if you need more information, ask me I^m living in Zürich
