How much would it cost to travel America for approx 2-3 months on my own with nothing booked or planned?
I am thinking of going to America for approx 2-3 months, i'm turning 27 in a couple of months and have pretty much had the worst two years of my life so i need to get away for a while. Ive always been fascinated by the southern states and always wanted to do the road trip thing (do not have a liscence). And i really like the idea of just booking a flight to Virginia as i have been there before, and a hotel just for a few days to find my feet and then make the rest up as i go. Anyone have any idea how much this would cost me, including spending money?

A decent hotel will cost $60 to $100 a day, depending upon location. 3 meals a day, fast food stuff, will run $20 a day. All major cities has a local busline service within the city.
