Flight Inquiries

Flight Inquiries?
I am flying from Norfolk, Virginia to Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 15th, 2007. I was wondering if someone could give me an estimate of how much that would cost? I am looking for the lowest possible price. I don't mind multiple layovers. Thanks so much for your time.

You have lots of time, so you are in pretty good shape. Try www.sidestep.com ... best I could come up with is $153 for a one way (on Delta or American). A round trip probably wouldn't be much more, but you have have to have your return date.

I suggest you go to your nearest travel agent to help you out with that. Or try Expedia. I tried a rough search on Norfolk to Minneapolis and it's giving me $280, oneway. (That's Norfolk - Charlotte - Chicago - Minneapolis, on US Airways and American Airlines, by the way.) The price would definitely depend on the time of your flight, the day, the day of purchase of the ticket (tickets booked early usually cost less) and on how many connections you're willing to take. Goodluck.

I found some at cheaptickets.com that end up being $152 with all the taxes added that has 2 layovers. Now this price is assuming it is a one way flight. From then on it goes up. If you go to smart travel.com you can compare several different sites for fares, and it also gives you booking tips. If you could possibly leave on Thurday instead of Friday it would be cheaper. I also try to stay away from the big travel sites, like expedia, travelocity and such. From my experience they are the most expensive. Good luck!
