Commiting a crime before leaving the United States

Commiting a crime before leaving the United States?
I'll make a long story short, I hate my boss (Ex-Boss after quitting last week.) And the reason for quitting is simple. $$$$$$$ inheritence, set for life. I worked in retail and am moving to Italy next week to live in a beutiful condo overlooking Rome, where the interest will pay for everything. I was born there and thus have duel citizenship. I read, write, speak and comprehend Italian fluently. I leave this sunday. The store closes at 7pm sunday and she is scheduled to be there. I heard her mention about a month ago (To the only employee she is civil to) that she has liability only on her 1984 mint condition Jaguar XJ6. Meaning if I were to stop by the parking lot and fill her gas tank (there is no lock on it) with sugar just before heading to the airport, she has no coverage and is out about 10ks. My flight leaves from Richmond, Virginia to Paris (Then to Rome) at 5:50pm. Right before take off I text her and say "So you know how you've been a total dried up ***** off a boss, well why don't you go check to see if you're car starts. Hasta la see ya!" Then hit send right before the flight attendent announces they are about to depart. My county will never waste time and money to have me extradited all the way back from fricken Italy over some sugar in a gas tank, and she can sue for the damages, but good luck collecting. I'm no lawyer, but I doubt the county courthouse has jurisdiction in Italy. Hit me with you're best shot, what recourse could fall on this duel citizen (Meaning deportation impossible) of Italy, in Italy?

Crime doesn't pay. Why not just leave and never come back to the US? If you do commit this crime, trust me it will come back to you and slap you in the face.

You're pretty vindictive! You're right about all the legal BS, but what if you ever have to/need to come back to the US? Do you really want to worry about this in say 10, 20, 30 years from now??? (I PROMISE it won't matter then!) But if you're going to do this... (off the record advice here of course) ;-) Do it, but don't confess your guilt to her! First off, if she was smart and didn't try to start her car, it could be towed to the shop and fixed with much less significant damage... And she has written proof. I would do it, not tell her, and enjoy your 8 hour flight knowing that when she gets in her car at 7, she's in for a boat load of trouble!!!! ;-) Haha all in jokes, nice question, I like the way you think!

OK! Tell me, what did the Jag ever do to you?? LOL! I could think of OTHER ways to annoy this woman, without breaking the Law! Then you could leave America with a clean conscience! Just enjoy your inheritence and don't waste any more time on this woman! She'll get hers, one way or another ! Why put yourself in jeopady for the likes of her!!!

As long as you never plan to return to the US, you're probably safe enough - no prosecutor is going to invest the time and effort to extradite someone for vandalism, even of a low-grade felony variety. A civil suit is another matter...if your ex-boss is similarly vindictive, she could probably track you down in Italy and try and sue you there. Depending on whose pockets are deeper, she might even succeed.
